Product Description: Our greenhouse film is made using a five layer coextrusion process which allows for a wide range of added functionalities. Furthermore, the films improved mechanical resistance makes it suitable for greenhouse covers, macro and micro tunnels. The five layer coextrusion process makes it possible to add specific functionalities to each film layer, thus making it possible to combine more features in a single film; a trait which is unavailable or very defficient in regular coextrusion processes. Some of these features are: •Diffusion. Distributes or scatters light evenly and reduces shadows inside the greenhouse, so your plants can get light from every angle. This feature contributes to accelerated growth; some plants grow 20 to 30 percent faster under diffused light, vs. plants grown under direct sunlight •Thermicity. Heat absorbed during the day is better held inside the greenhouse, thus protecting plants from the cold of the night. This protects the plants from high temperature fluctuations, allows for accelerated growth, and reduces energy consumption •Transmission. Controls the amount of light received by the plants. Excess light may stress or harm certain plants, and reduce photosynthesis rates. •Anti-Dust. Reduces the accumulation of dust on the film surface, which can substantially decrease light transmission •UV Block / Anti-virus. Blocks the insects visible light range, thus making it hard for them to navigate inside the greenhouse. This feature has shown to decrease pests such as white fly and thrips, and the propagation of viruses, of which insects are carriers. In roses and other plants, this feature reduces blackening •Anti-Drip. Reduces condensation on the film surface and the subsequent dripping. Dripping inside the greenhouse can impact the quality of flowers, fruits and vegetables thru the appearance of unwanted blemishes and discoloration.
